James D. Aramanda

CEO

The Clearing House

James D. Aramanda is CEO of The Clearing House and has more than 20 years of banking and payments experience. Prior to joining The Clearing House, Mr. Aramanda served as Group President and Executive Vice President of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. responsible for brokerage, claims and dealer services businesses in 50 countries. Mr. Aramanda also served as Vice Chairman of Mellon Financial Corporation (now Bank of New York Mellon) and CEO of the processing businesses that operated around the globe.

Hank Farrar

CHIPS

Hank Farrar is responsible for CHIPS, the large value payment system (wire) that processes more than $2.1 T in payments worldwide each day. Since joining The Clearing House in 1990, he has led strategic planning initiatives, launched and managed several payments businesses, and directed key projects for the company. Mr. Farrar is a leader in the payments industry with an extensive payments background, including being at the forefront of helping financial institutions manage the migration of paper checks to electronic payments.

R. C. (Rick) Leander

Strategic Payments Forum

Rick Leander joined The Clearing House in 2004 to lead its Strategic Payments Forum, which facilitates work among U.S. payments industry participants to serve both industry and bank strategic interests. Mr. Leander has extensive experience leading strategy and operations of electronic payments and emerging technology businesses at Bank of America, Mellon Financial Services, and Citicorp. Most recently he was CEO of Avantrust, a joint venture eCommerce business for AIG and D&B.

Susan Long

SVPCO - Electronic Clearing Services

Susan Long is responsible for the Electronic Check Presentment and Image Exchange services for The Clearing House Payments Company, including setting the strategy, direction, and managing day-to-day operations. She has extensive experience managing businesses, operations and product management at The Clearing House and prior to that at Deutsche Bank. Miss Long participates on the ECCHO Board of Directors and has served on numerous industry groups.

Norman R. Nelson

TCH Association

Norman R. Nelson is the General Counsel of The Clearing House Association, overseeing legislative, regulatory and litigation matters affecting the banking industry. He also serves as the chief legal officer supporting The Clearing House payment systems.

Mr. Nelson is a member of the Banking Law Committees of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. Prior to joining The Clearing House, Mr. Nelson was a partner at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.

Rossana Salaris

EPN

Rossana Salaris is responsible for the Electronic Payments Network, the nation's largest private sector ACH processor and regional ACH association, serving nearly 1,600 financial institutions nationwide. Ms. Salaris is on NACHA’s Board of Directors, has served on numerous NACHA task forces and councils and is an accredited ACH professional (AAP). She also manages Education Services.

Albert G. Wood

Technology and Operations

Albert G. Wood leads the technology and operations functions that support The Clearing House payments businesses, including: systems infrastructure and development, project management, computer operations, and facilities. Mr. Wood participates in a number of industry forums on resilience, safety and soundness of the payments system infrastructure.
